I made my first garden mirror (main picture top left) a few years ago from an old dressing table mirror which was rotting away in the garden. I then discovered a passion for making things from wood. Like most hobbies there is only so much you can make before you run out of space, my partner suggested selling some (she's the brains). This gave me room to make more, much to her annoyance. I like all wood but deckboard is so strong and resiliant in all weathers. It loves all forms of preserver ,stains, paint etc. in any colour.

My planters are the same medium , very strong ,weather resistant and quite attractive too. Again they can be stained one year painted the next depending on your taste. I can add pre drilled drainage holes if requested ,lining is perforated plastic membrane which allows excess water to escape while keeping soil from direct contact with timber. I only use exterior weather resistant decking screws in construction.

Timber is pressure treated for long life with a non toxic preservative. Wood supplied is from sustainable forests.

I make troughs in various lengths, from tiny to huge. Some customers have been buying planters and using them as window boxes with metal brackets to support them, so I have developed a range of window boxes which need no brackets. The back panel of the box is longer than  the front and has pre drilled countersunk mounting holes which allows the box to be screwed directly to a wall (hammer fixings supplied) . On advice from the expert (my lovely) no drainage holes in window boxes unless requested. These boxes though containing more timber and screws supplied are the same price as planters of same length!
